In this paper, we are trying to dig deeper into the meaning of Jesus' crucifixion and death. The basis of the writings about Jesus' death is solely made up of literature, and no physical structures. In the Bible, the four Gospels go into detail of Jesus' life and death. This topic is discussed by the Roman historians Cornelius Tacitus, Pliny the Younger, and Seutonius, and by others such as Thallus, Phlegon, Lucian of Samosata, and a few others.
The Shroud of Turin, thought to be the actual burial cloth of Jesus, along with some archealogical findings, gives more strength to the ideas about how Jesus died.
